The IES Sabina Mora is an educational centre located in Roldán, in the municipality of Torre Pacheco, in the Region of Murcia, Spain. It is located seven kilometres from Torre Pacheco and is the referrence teaching center of nearby towns such as Balsicas and Los Martínez del Puerto.
The school offers to the pupils the possibility to do the 4 academic years of compulsory education and the 2 years of high school (not compulsory). Its educational community is made up of 63 professors, 5 administration officials and 685 students.
The school develops a Bilingual Programme where pupils participating attend some subjects in English. Other programmes are taught in the school, as ICT Communication and Erasmus+ KA2. With regard to the awareness of diversity, the centre is carrying out several initiatives such as Compensatory education, Spanish for foreign pupils, and support lessons for pupils with special needs. Also the library is very active, organising many activities: speeches, readings, press and theatre workshops.
Due to all that, it's easy to state that this centre is a dynamic school involved in several projects, where the whole educational community is very active.
