Today, on the March 14th (2019) we had a short lecture about number π in our school. The number π is a mathematical constant. Originally defined as the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, it now has various equivalent definitions and appears in many formulas in all areas of mathematics and physics. Class 7th c volunteered and helped teachers in the organization of the lecture. Kids at the age 7-14 were participating in it. After we learned a couple of important things about π we had a quiz and the ones with the highest score at the end got chocolate as a gift.
